This GPS locator is a powerful device that utilizes the Global Positioning System (GPS) technology developed by the Department of Defense.

When you wish to locate your device, you go to a secure web site, log in using your subscription service, select the locator you wish to locate, and within minutes the system will determine the position of the GPS Locator. Once located, you can view the location on a detailed street map (including the nearest street) or view location on an actual aerial photograph.

Using the "Breadcrumbing" feature, you can schedule a series of "automatic locates" to identify a trail of locations over a specific period of  time. This feature is great for identifying a specific route or series of destinations.

    The GPS Locator uses state-of-the-art enhanced GPS satellite technology and one of the largest wireless network to determine and communicate the location of the device. Service from both are needed for complete, end-to-end location reporting to occur. If the Locator is outside the network area or does not receive a wireless signal, no location report will be provided.
