The Fastfind Plus is a
revolutionary hand-held 406MHz Personal Location Beacon. Similar in
size to a mobile phone, it is powerful enough to transmit a distress
message from the remotest seas, almost anywhere in the world to the
international search and rescue services in just 3 minutes, whilst
giving a positional accuracy to within typically 30 metres. It will
also update your position every 20 minutes and give vital information
to the rescue services about your personal details and boat ID, thus
avoiding lengthy searches, which greatly increases the chance of a
successful rescue. Fastfind
Plus is
currently the only Cospas Sarsat approved PLB in the world that
contains an internal GPS receiver, 406 MHz and a 121.5MHz transmitter,
it is also the worlds smallest 406MHz PLB.

Designed using miniaturized components to fit into an aesthetically
styled compact casing the Fastfind Plus has a simple 3-stage
activation. There is a choice of user replaceable batteries for use in
a wide range of temperatures. The batteries last for 5 years and once
activated will transmit for 24 hours.
When activated a
visual indicator and audible alarm show the operating status confirming
406MHz transmission, 121.5MHz homing transmitter operation and GPS
status, providing comforting reassurance to the user.
The Fastfind Plus is
stylish and easy to wear and comes complete with a fixing device for
attaching to foul weather clothing, or a lifejacket, and a designer
carry case to ensure that the PLB is worn at all times. The unit is
also small enough to fit into a pocket and can even be used by divers
with use of a clever pressure resistant container.
Whether a recreational
boater, professional or semi professional crewman, lone yachtsman or
fisherman, the Fastfind Plus provides individuals almost instant,
personal protection giving the very best chance of being found in an
emergency at sea. Also, in countries that permit PLBÕs for
landbase and aviation use the Fastfind Plus can also give the same
protection to mountain climbers, skiers, forestry workers, desert
